Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 4750G laptop (see dxdiag file below), which has Nvidia GeForce GT540M 1GB Optimus in addition to the integrated Intel display adapter, and I experience very low FPS considering that my machine is pretty strong! Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Here is the average FPS breakdown per area in the game: (using resolution 1366x768) Imperial Fleet - 15 My starship - 40 Warzones - 5 (I just don'y play Warzones cuz of that) In a group - 15 Outdoors - 20 I've confirmed that the GPU is being used when playing the game using Windows GPU meter gadget. I've tried different version of drivers and currently now I'm using the latest beta from Nvidia's website. No performance improvement had been noticied. Is there any known compatability issues with Nvidia Optimus technology? Please provide a solution. | |
